So much Motion

I know I’ve been MIA for a month.  Life has been crazy hectic, totally busy and I’ve been running non-stop. With all this activity, I haven’t had a second to post.  While busy, I still managed to come across the art work of Kendra Zvonik.  She’s a painter whose work has a vibrancy and definitely movement. As my life has currently been full of movement, I thought I’d give a nod to her piece “In Motion No. 1”  which could pretty much sum up the last month of my life.

This piece in it’s lovely pattern, is also environmentally responsible as well (bonus!)  as she created it reclaimed wood and re-purposed tar paper. Definitely creative use of material!

In Motion No. 1 $51.00

  1. Thank you so much, Valerie!
I feel happy knowing that my work has been so well understood and appreciated by you. It confirms my belief that painting can serve a real purpose in society and can be an effective tool in communicating change.
I hope you find some time to relax! But I am so grateful that you have chosen to promote my work with you precious spare moments. You are generous and kind.
Thanks for your understanding and stay in touch!
I will definitely send my friends to your blog & return again to see what else you are up to!
    Best Wishes,
    Kendra Zvonik

  3. Hello,

My name is Megan Peterson, and I work at an Internet map-content start-up company in Boulder, Colorado. I just perused your Art Addict blog. In general, we’re trying to bring information about art & fashion (among other interests like hiking, fishing, etc.) onto the Internet (Google maps, for example) as well as onto GPS devices and in-car navigation units. Our initial focus is on the US, Canada & UK. Our site will be structured and dynamic, driven by our users who will create and edit content (like a Wikipedia page). Also, our site will be free to all users, registered or not.

I’m very interested in having you participate in our closed site review occurring in several weeks. Essentially, we’d give you login information, have you create a user profile, peruse the site (i.e. the public art locations, the vintage clothing stores, etc.), and give us detailed feedback. Also, we will enable you to invite others who may be interested in our site. Ideally, you enjoy and contribute to our site, and blog about it. We’re hoping this is something you’d be interested in.

Thanks for your time. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I look forward to your response.
