Baldwin Wallace to Host Sustainability Symposium

My alma mater Baldwin Wallace College has recently become a leading institution in greater Cleveland to focus on sustainability in it’s goals, campus environment and classroom programs.  In 2006 a campus Sustainability Committee was established  to coordinate and encourage environmentally responsible practices throughout the campus (and it appears even beyond)

On October 20-21, 2008 the college will be hosting a Sustainability Symposium, which is FREE and open to the public.  It will included a Monday keynote address by Stuart Hart, author  Capitalism at the Crossroads, and the Samuel C. Johnson Chair of Sustainable Global Enterprise and Professor of Management at Cornell University.

On the 21st there will be four panel discussions with leading experts in the field from various sectors.  You can find out more information, and view the complete line up of experts at  http://www.bw.edu/academics/sustainability/symposium/
