There is such a treasure to be found in vintage jewelry pieces, but it takes a true artist to have the eye and ability to repurpose what most of us might just toss in a garage sale pile. There’s a lovely Cleveland designer (Avon Lake to be exact) named Mary who created the Vintage Brooch Company, which has evolved to carry a lot more than just reinvented brooches, but an entire line of what she calls modern day “bling” that has a vintage soul.
My particular favorite currently for sale in her shop happens to be her coffee bean necklace. It has quite a bit of panache’ and it certainly unique. It’ll “perk” up any wardrobe (Sorry, I couldn’t resist the pun!)
Of course if you like even more bling, she has plenty of pieces with tons of ornate sparkle, rhinestones, colorful enamels and more. Better yet, each piece comes in a snazzy leopard print box!
